Special Personages -New Section- Nueva Seccion


Dear friends,
Inaugurate the section of characters with the captain of Grenadiers Regiment Hibernia, which will be released soon on the blog.

 Estimados amigos, inaguramos la seccion de personajes especiales con el capitan de granaderos del Regimiento de Hibernia, que proximamente saldra en el blog:

 D. Guillermo Livesay. Captain of the grenadier company of the battalion 1.er Infantry Regiment of Hibernia. Warmodelling figure.

a little history:

The June 23, 1808 the Supreme Council of Asturias, on the initiative of the Secretary of the same representative, D. Juan Argüelles Toral, resolved to establish an honor guard for the security of the institution and its members and also help to ensure good order and public tranquility. To take command of this guard, is designated as commander in chief of the same to D. William Livesay, captain of the grenadier company of the battalion 1.er Infantry Regiment of Hibernia.

Therefore Guillermo is founder of Honor Guard Battalion board in Oviedo (Asturias).

   El 23 de junio de 1808 La Junta suprema de Asturias, a iniciativa del representante secretario de la misma, D. Juan Argüelles Toral, resuelve establecer una Guardia de Honor para la seguridad de la Institución y de sus miembros y que, asimismo, contribuya a asegurar el buen orden y la tranquilidad pública. Para ejercer el mando de esta guardia, se designa como comandante en jefe de la misma a D. Guillermo Livesay, capitán de la compañía de granaderos del 1.er batallón del Regimiento de Infantería de Hibernia.
